I’m Julie and I am a new blogger!… There, I said it.  I am a rare species who rarely gets bored and usually takes an interest in what’s new/exciting/odd/different in the world.  It is here where I hope to showcase those interests. My funds are few, but I’m also a persaverant!

Professionally, I am an Interantional Affairs specialist, courtesy of McGill University and the Univeristy of Vienna, dabblilng in a bit of everything international, including Languages; Conflict, Development and Environmental Studies; Politics; History; Sociology; and Technology.  Though really, what is all that without an inherent flair for networking, communicating and building relationships?  When it comes down to it, I’m just an average Canadian who likes hanging out with interesting people.  More than anything, they are good company, a good sounding board, lend great support and make life a lot more fun!

And so, in knowing the state of my over-active curiosity and my confidence that the people around me; their cultures; foods; art, politics; society will always astound me, I hope that I can bring a little bit of myself to you, my blog’s readers

I hope that by sharing my thoughts and ideas here, I can at the very least find an outlet for a little creative expression and maybe learn a little something along the way.
